Analytic hierarchy process to assess and optimize distribution network

چکیده
Effective supply chain distribution network design needs to consider various performance dimensions and product characteristics. Recently, researchers have begun to realize that the decision and integration effort in supply chain design should be driven by a comprehensive set of performance metrics and also product characteristics. In this paper, we relate product characteristics to optimizing supply chain delivery network design and adopt cost and service factor performance metrics as the decision criteria. An analytic hierarchy process (AHP) multi-criteria decision-making methodology is then developed to take into account both qualitative and quantitative factors in the best delivery network design selection. By using AHP methodology we could optimize the selection of delivery network design followed by relevant choices for decision making of Home plus distribution center. 2008 Elsevier Inc. Application of multi-criteria decision making to estimate the potential of flooding
Integrating a geographic information system and multi-criteria decision making methods have been lead to provide spatial multi-criteria decision making methods. In this study, the spatial potential of flooding was determined based on analytic network process and analytic hierarchy process. At first, six factors of flooding were determined as criteria. The criteria were the slope, hill-slope asp...
متن کاملThe Analytic Network Process
Abstract The Analytic Network Process (ANP) is a generalization of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The basic structure is an influence network of clusters and nodes contained within the clusters. Priorities are established in the same way they are in the AHP using pairwise comparisons and judgment. Many decision problems cannot be structured hierarchically because they involve the inter...
متن کاملPerformance comparison of land change modeling techniques for land use projection of arid watersheds
The change of land use/land cover has been known as an imperative force in environmental alteration, especially in arid and semi-arid areas. This research was mainly aimed to assess the validity of two major types of land change modeling techniques via a three dimensional approach in Birjand urban watershed located in an arid climatic region of Iran. Thus, a Markovian approach based on two suit...

Background and Aims: Natural gas pipeline network is an important part of a city’s infrastructure for energy transmission. As the gas pipeline network becoming vaster and more complex, accident caused by the leak of gas pipeline network occur. Accidents consequences caused by gas pipeline rupture, can directly threatening the safety of persons and properties in the city. Thus, it is neces...
متن کاملA GIS-based comparative study of the analytic hierarchy process, bivariate statistics and frequency ratio methods for landslide susceptibility mapping in part of the Tehran metropolis, Iran
The high hillsides of the Tehran metropolis are prone to landslides due to the climatic conditions and the geological, geomorphologicalcharacteristics of the region. Therefore, it is vitally important that a landslide susceptibility map of the region be prepared. For thispurpose, thematic layers including landslide inventory, lithology, slope, aspect, curvature, distance to stream, distance to ...
